In the analysis of oxygen content, especially in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis, since the oxygen content in the air is as high as 21% O2, it is very easy to contaminate and interfere with the sample if it is not handled properly, and the analysis result data will be incorrect. The main reason is the improper operation of the oxygen detector. Here are just a few factors that affect the measurement:
1. Simplification and cleanliness of the gas circuit switcher of the oxygen detector.
Elevator maintenance must be effective for trace analysis. Eliminate the contamination of the sample gas caused by the dead ends of various pipe fittings, valves, meter heads, etc. on the gas path. Therefore, the air circuit switcher should be simplified as much as possible, and the connecting parts with small dead angle should be selected. In addition, avoid the use of water seals, oil seals, wax seals and other equipment to prevent dissolved oxygen from escaping and causing pollution. It is also necessary to avoid adding purification equipment that is easy to cause pollution on the pipeline that leads the sample gas to the inlet of the oxygen analyzer. Only in this way can the switcher be clean and the data obtained be accurate.
2. Contamination of oxygen detectors.
When reusing the oxygen detector, first of all, the self-adhesive fireproof tape must pay attention to whether air leaks when connecting the sampling pipeline, and the leaked air must be blown out carefully, and try not to let a large amount of oxygen pass through the sensor to prolong the life of the sensor . In the purification process of the pipe switcher, in order to shorten the purification time, a certain method is required. Generally, high-pressure venting and low-flow blowing are alternately used to quickly purify the pipeline.
3. Selection of pipe material.
The pipe material and surface roughness and the side effects of interferon will also affect the change of oxygen content in the sample gas. Generally, plastic pipes, rubber pipes, etc. should not be used as connecting pipes. Usually copper tubes or stainless steel tubes are used, and polished stainless steel tubes must be used for ultra-micro analysis (refer to <0.1ppm).
4. Oxygen detector leaks.
The oxygen detector must be strictly checked for leaks before it is used for the first time. The oxygen analyzer can obtain accurate data only under the premise of tight leaks. Any connection points, welding points, valves, etc. are not tight, which will cause the oxygen in the air to reversely seep into the pipeline and the inside of the oxygen analyzer, resulting in a high oxygen content.
