Selection guidance
Solenoid valve selection first followed the four principles of safety, reliability, applicability, and economy, followed by six aspects of the operating conditions (I. e., pipeline parameters, fluid parameters, pressure parameters, electrical parameters, action, special requirements) to choose.
1. according to the pipeline parameters to select the solenoid valve: diameter specifications, interface mode.
The drift size shall be determined according to the inner diameter size or flow requirement of the pipeline on site. Interface mode, general> DN50 should choose flange interface, ≤ DN50 can be freely selected according to user needs.
2. according to the fluid parameters to select the solenoid valve: material, temperature group
1. Corrosive fluid: The valve body should be made of stainless steel, and the seal should be made of PTFE.
2, edible or ultra-clean fluid: body material should be selected sanitary stainless steel, seals should be selected silicone rubber. High temperature fluid: to choose high temperature resistant electrical materials and sealing materials, and to choose the valve disc/seat combined seal. Fluid viscosity: usually more than 50cst can be arbitrarily selected, if more than this value, should choose high viscosity solenoid valve. Fluid cleanliness: clean fluid can be arbitrarily selected, containing more impurities should not choose the pilot solenoid valve.
3. according to the pressure parameters to choose the solenoid valve: pressure and structure varieties.
1. Nominal pressure: This parameter has the same meaning as other general valves and is determined according to the nominal pressure of the pipeline.
2. Working pressure: Direct acting or step-by-step direct acting principle must be selected for working pressure <0.05Mpa. Direct acting, step-by-step direct acting or pilot type can be used when the maximum working pressure is ≥ 0.05Mpa. Pilot type should be selected when the pressure is higher.
4. electrical parameters: voltage specifications as far as possible priority to use AC220V, DC24V.
The 5. is selected according to the continuous working time: normally closed and normally open emergency shut-off valve (manual reset).
1. When the solenoid valve needs to be opened for a long time, and the continuous opening time greatly exceeds the closing time, the normally open type should be selected. When the on and off frequency switching or opening time is short or the time difference between on and off is not much, the normally closed type should be selected. Some of the working conditions for safety protection, such as furnace fire monitoring, fire safety related dynamic system, should choose emergency cut-off solenoid valve, and should not choose long-term power type or normally open type.
6. choose additional functions according to environmental requirements: explosion-proof, non-return, manual, waterproof fog, water shower
1, explosive environment: must choose the corresponding explosion-proof grade of the solenoid valve (my company's existing dIIBT4,dIICT5,ExmIIT4).
2, open-air installation or dust occasions should be selected waterproof, dustproof varieties (protection grade IP54 above), for underwater pipeline must use diving type solenoid valve (protection grade IP68 above).
3, for the need for on-site manual operation of the solenoid valve, you can choose my company normally open, normally closed with manual solenoid valve.
4. When the medium in the tube has a backflow phenomenon, the solenoid valve with non-return function can be selected.
